

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church with Pastor Stewart Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Mrs. Dawson was born August 17, 1943 in Bangkok, Thailand, daughter of the late Suchat Wodemongkol and Cham Soi Som An. She was married to Burle Dawson on September 2, 1968. Mrs. Dawson was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and was devout in her Lutheran faith. She loved flowers, the Wiregrass Good Sams Camping Club, and RV traveling.
Survivors include her husband of almost 43 years, Burle Dawson, of Ozark; two daughters: Ann Baldwin of Birmingham, and Skunlot "Sandy" Dawkins of Ozark; four sons: Rajpol (Crystal) Dawson of Dothan, Clifford Dawson, Burle Dawson, Jr. of Chippewa, WI, and Alfred Dawson of Ohio; one sister, Wana Tomnbay; sisters-in-law: Karen Dubberke of Moline, IL, Peggy Bingham of Parsons, TN; brothers-in-law: David (Nancy) Dubberke of Aloha, OR, Jerry Dawson of Marion, IL; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other family in Thailand. The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Scott McAllister and staff, Dr. Brian Center and staff and to Southern Care Hospice.
