Virginia Ottosa Chapman Lucky

Funeral services will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery in Enterprise and Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Mrs. Lucky was born in Moundville, AL to Will and Willow Pilkerton Chapman on July 7, 1923. Although legally blind, she was a military wife who traveled around the world with her husband and raised three children.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Virgle Ellis Lucky, Sr. Retired US Army CW3.

Mrs. Lucky is survived by her sons, Terry (Carol), Joe (Judy) and Robert (Janet) Lucky; five grandsons, Keith (Kelly), Ricky (Sonja), Chad (Kristi), Brian (Shanda) and Mark Lucky and ten great-grandchildren.
