ALICIA MC INTOSH
“GONE TOO SOON”
Alicia Virginia Mc Intosh, Born August 1, 1958. The proud daughter of Thelma Mc Intosh and Ansel Mc Intosh. She was the third of four children and yet she always took center stage in the family.
Lisa, (as we always called her), was very active as a child when she attended Boys School, in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The family migrated from Jamaica on June 7, 1971 to Queens New York where she attended Elementary School, and then graduated from Springfield Gardens High School in Queens New York. She received her bachelor’s degree and her master’s degree from Queens College, where she specialized in Elementary Education.
'Wherever she attended church, she was very active in singing in the choir and serving as Sabbath School Secretary including most recent, Palm Bay Seventh Day Adventist Church. Although her health decline in the last few years, and she could not attend church as regularly, she did not neglect to pick-up quarterlies for herself and others which she mailed out religiously every quarter. This was to ensure everyone was studying God's word. This and many other ministries she was faithful in.
She had a great sense of humor, and have made so many people laughed even when they did not want to. She will be greatly missed by her sisters Valreen, Norma and her brother Winston, along with host a of cousins and uncle, George Hamilton. I am sure the members of the Palm Bay Seventh Day Adventist Church join with her friends and family in saying,” Lisa, sleep on and take your rest”.
