Anthony G. Dinapoli Jr.

December 1, 1963 – September 14, 2026

Anthony Gennaro DiNapoli Jr., beloved Husband, Father, Papa, Son, Brother, Navy Veteran, and Friend, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026, at the age of 62.

Born December 1, 1963, in Patchogue, New York, to Anthony Gennaro DiNapoli Sr. and Joan DiNapoli, Anthony lived a life defined by family, service, adventure, laughter, and love.

For 43 years, Anthony shared his life with his beloved wife, Michele. Together, they raised their daughters, Racheal and Jessica, traveled the world throughout his military career, and built a beautiful life and family. Of everything Anthony accomplished, his family was always his greatest pride and joy.

Anthony loved being a husband and a dad, but one of the titles he cherished most was Papa. If you knew Anthony, you knew just how much being Papa meant to him. His grandbabies were his pride and joy, and the love he had for them was immeasurable.

Anthony was smart as a whip, strong, adventurous, competitive, stubborn, and constantly joking. He was somehow good at nearly everything he tried—sports, games, projects, and just about any challenge put in front of him.

He could also fix just about anything. His family came to live by one simple truth:

“If Papa couldn't fix it, no one could.”

Anthony was someone you could always depend on, and he gave the best hugs—the kind that made you feel safe, protected, and loved.

Anthony proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy, taking his family around the world and creating a lifetime of memories along the way. After retiring from the Navy, he continued supporting his country throughout his career at L3Harris.

Anthony loved sports, adventure, yacht rock, Sunday football, family meals, laughter, and most of all, being surrounded by the people he loved.

In November 2025, Anthony was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. It was a devastating and terribly unfair final chapter, but his illness will never define the life he lived or the man he was.

Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Gennaro DiNapoli Sr. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Michele; daughters, Racheal and Jessica; his cherished grandchildren; Landon, Raelynn, Haley, Savanna, Layken, Parker and Nicholas mother, Joan DiNapoli; brothers, Richard (Marybeth), David (Donna), and Keith (Maggie) DiNapoli; sister-in-law, Marie Craddock (David); and many extended family members, friends, fellow veterans, and coworkers.

Anthony was a proud sailor, a devoted family man, the guy who could fix anything, the person who was somehow good at everything, the coworker who always had a joke ready, and the Papa who gave the very best hugs.

After everything he endured, he can finally rest.

The love Anthony gave his family did not leave on September 14. It lives in the stories they will tell, the laughter they will share, the things he taught them, and the family who will carry his memory forward.
