Arlene was born on August 20, 1935, in Brooklyn, NY, to Arthur and Mary Palmer. She married her high school sweetheart, Dominick Grisanzio, and they raised three boys on Long Island, NY. She and Dom retired to Melbourne, Florida, where they lived a happy life surrounded by friends, their pets, and their boat. After Dom’s passing in 2013, Arlene moved to the suburbs of Chicago to be near her son, Bob, and his family. She enjoyed her cat, her books, and her artwork.
Arlene is survived by her son, Bob (Marcia), Bill, (former daughter-in-law Maria), and Jim (Akiko) and her grandchildren, Emma, Danny, Catherine, Christina, and Emiri. She is also survived by her sister Marilyn Gochanour.
A small service will be held on Monday, January 24th at noon at Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7359 Babcock St. SE, Palm Bay, FL. A memorial website is planned, and information will be shared as soon as it is available.
