Arnim Argenold Mercer 87, passed away on September 5, 2020 at Holmes Regional Hospital in Melbourne, Florida.

Born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, he was the son of Herman and Isabella Mercer. He was 3rd of six children, three boys and three girls. Growing up in Trinidad, he attended Presentation College in San Fernando studying Accounting. After coming to America, he was employed at Rudolph Bass Woodworking Company in New York for over 30 years where he worked as a Sales Engineer/Accountant.

He was a longtime member of Sheepgate Church in Long Island, New York. After moving to Florida with his family, he started attending Greater Palm Bay Church of God in Palm Bay, Florida. Also, Calvary Chapel of Melbourne. He enjoyed keeping active by playing tennis and watching sports. In his downtime, he loved traveling around the world with his family, and listening to Calypso and Jazz music. He will be remembered for his loving and caring personality. And also how proud he was of his family .

He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Ruby Mercer; his sons, Melville and Ray (Angela); his daughter, Trina; his grandchildren: Jada, Naomi, RayJr., SammieJo, Ramel, Persia, and Ishmael; and his one and only great granddaughter, Thalaiah Hamilton. Also his siblings, Umilta Carlisle (Canada) and Beryl Stewart(Trinidad); and loving nieces and nephews and cousins and extended family and friends. He is predeceased by both of his parents and three siblings .

I remember my big brother Arnim as our Mother main support for his last 3 siblings. He is God Father to my 2 daughters. I lovingly remember his nickname for me was 12fingers . .Being the last he always kept me informed of memories that I might not have remembered.. I will always cherish my memories of him and love him always.
