Born in Safford, Arizona, she was the daughter of Isidro Perez and Vera Fernandez. She attended Morenci High School, along with Will, clearly being the "It Couple" of the day, and later in life received a certification from Seminole Community College as a Medical Assistant, a job she took to heart and enjoyed immensely.
She was a "career" Navy wife and enjoyed the travel and cultural experiences this afforded. She enjoyed meeting new people and exploring creative outlets of all kinds. She particularly enjoyed quilting, a hobby she picked up while living in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She will always be remembered for her love of life and willingness to try just about anything. She truly had an indomitable spirit and was determined to overcome all obstacles and enjoy everything life had to offer.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Will, her daughters, Susan Ling, Diane Paradise and Lisa Belli (Tommy), her grandchildren, Robert Paradise, Michael Ling, Katie Paradise (Ben Heritage), Dinah Belli, and Maia Belli, and her great-grandson, Rowan Belli. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Isidro Perez Jr, Margie Estrada, and Robert Perez, as well as her sons-in-law, James Paradise and Wesley Ling.
