Benjamin Wadler, 100, of Cocoa Beach died Saturday (1/18) in Southland Suites. A native of New York, New York, he came to the area in 1970 from Oceanside, Long Island. He had been an upholsterer and interior decorator prior to his retirement, and after moving to the area he had often assisted in making the sets for the Surfside Players. He was a veteran, having served in the US Army. Benjamin enjoyed playing tennis and rode his bicycle every day until he was 95. Benjamin was known to be a kind, gentle, and thoughtful person who had a high level of humility, was non-judgmental, and always had a positive outlook and attitude.
Benjamin was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters and is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Daniel (Susan Goodman) of Indialantic.
