
Carolyn Hazelgrove Melbourne Carolyn Hazelgrove, of Melbourne, Florida passed away peacefully on August 18, 2011 at her home in Melbourne Village. She was born on February 18, 1934 in Fort Pierce, Florida. Carolyn will be remem bered by her loving chil dren, Linda Hazelgrove- Babick, Jamie Hanthorn, Cindy Fischer, and Sandra Ranney; and two wonderful sons-in-law, Tim Hanthorn and Don Fischer. She will also be sadly missed by her three grandchildren, Rachel Ranney, Matthew Fischer, Michael Fischer; and a future grandson-in-law, Ryan Osborne. Carolyn is also survived by her caring and dear brother, Dwight McCorts, of Okeechobee, Florida. Carolyn was married to James Hazelgrove in 1955 in Ft. Pierce, Florida. Shortly after they moved to Melbourne Village, Florida, where they raised their five girls. Carolyn worked for 30 years at the Indialantic Town Hall as the City Clerk and Finance Director before retiring in 1997 to enjoy traveling and spending time with her family. Carolyn enjoyed spend ing time with her daugh ters, grandchildren and many friends. She will be remembered as a kind, compassionate and loving friend whose positive energy was infectious to those around her. Carolyn touched the lives of many with her warm smile, her generous spirit, and her delightful sense of humor, which she maintained till the end. The family plans to have a ceremony at Fountainhead Funeral Home on August 25 at 11 AM. We would like to thank friends and family for their loving support during this time. We would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Wuesthoff Medical Center for all their loving care.
