Dear oh dear Casey, every day that passes is another day I had to go on without you. I miss you baby so much. As a teacher, one meets many, many children; but Casey is one of those special souls who stays forever in my memory. He was so incredibly sweet. I will always remember his enthusiasm and his enchanting smile. I can still see the little boy who was quick to greet me with a hug in the art room. When Casey was a young Scout, we recall him being squeezed into our SUV middle front seat on a ride home from camp, and diligently learning to knit while other Scouts slept. The point is Casey never missed an opportunity to learn and experience the simple things that life had to offer. We are sad about Casey's passing and our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Although I didn't know Casey all that well, I saw him in one or two of my classes. He was kind of quiet and seemed really nice. He's forever in our hearts. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Best wishes.
