Celebrating the life of Cecelyn Henrietta McCormack (03-28-1930 – 11-22-2014) Cecelyn Henrietta McCormack departed this life for eternal rest on Saturday, November 22, 2014. Cecelyn was born in Jamaica, West Indies to the loving parents of Cecil and Rhodella Spencer. After finishing High School Cecelyn pursued her education in nursing and worked for many years in New York as a nursing assistance. After her retirement she moved to York Town, Virginia and in 2004 moved to Palm Bay, FL. Cecelyn attended Church of the Blessed Redeemer of Palm Bay, FL. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, shopping and spending time with friends and family.
Cecelyn leaves to mourn one stepson Hurvin Michael McCormack of New York, one step daughter Susan of New York; three brothers; two sisters and four step-grandchildren Myles McCormack, Davin McCormack, Milani McCormack and Samantha McCormack several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Services will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Fountainhead Funeral Home Chapel, Palm Bay, FL beginning with 10:00 am Visitation and 11:00 Service.
