I am so sorry to hear that "Dicky" passed. He was a childhood friend of my older brother, Marty, but Dicky allowed me to "tag along". He was always in good spirits and was kind to me. He called me "little hair". We will miss him.

Dicky, as I called him, and I, joined the army together, went through boot camp together and then on to jump school. He was my best friend. Dicky was a wonderful human being. I only learned of his passing recently and I know he will be missed by all who knew him.

I knew him by "bubba". Him and his lovely family use to live right in front of me. But i was so young, but still remember. I still remember his smile and his voice, how he laughed and how he always called me "Munchikin" and Haley (Punkie). He was a loving father and i know he wanted the best for Haley. He is no in heaven not alone, but also with my father and i know they are happy together looking down on me and Haley right this second. They are with us wherever we go. We all loved him very much and miss him very much. <3

To the Gardner family, I had known Bubba for many years long ago (early eighties) when he used to work with Floyd and Ron Pirtle at the PO. They were dear friends to me and my family. I still would come in and see Bubba here at Palm Bay PO and we would laugh and remember old times and he was so proud of his family and things seemed to be going well for him. I saw him smiling right before Christmas. I am truly shocked to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to his entire family. He was a special person. I am so sad for all of us for his loss. I hope he was not in any pain. I will think of him every time we watch the Gators! GO BUBBA, RIP!

You will be missed in many ways. You were a loyal friend, excellent at dealing with people and a very true Florida Gator fan. I enjoyed golfing with you. You gave me the first and only set of clubs I have ever owned. My son Patrick and I will remeber the good times we had with you on and off the golf course. We will miss you Bubba, Thank you for being a part of our lives.

Bubba, you were a great coworker, a great friend and a great man. Never had a bad word to say about anyone. So full of life. I'll miss you, my friend.
