

He was the beloved husband of Choo Lyons. They were married for 50 years. He leaves his children, Charles Jr, George, and Cynthia; daughter-in-laws, Virgilita and Christina; and grandsons, Joshua, Anthony, and Jonathan. He will be sadly missed by all of the family.
Charles was a veteran of the Army and served honorably for 26 years. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He requests that he not be mourned but the family smile and say that he lived his life as he wanted and had a long, happy life.
Upon retiring from the Army, he and his family resided in Palm Bay, Florida in 1973, where he and his wife chose to raise their family. He became Roman Catholic in 2014. He loved his Catholic faith and his Lord Jesus Christ.
As General MacArthur told the cadets in his final speech at West Point, "Old Soldiers never die, they just fade away."
Memorial Mass will be Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 2pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Palm Bay. Inurnment will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
