

Celebrating the life of Charley Thomas Sims (10-18-1935 - 12-20-2014) Charley Thomas Sims departed this life for his eternal rest on Saturday, December 20, 2014 in the presence of his loving family. Charley was born in Picayune, Mississippi to the loving parent of Winnie and Rucile Sims. Immediately after finishing high school Charley join the United States Air-Force. He toured Korea, Vietnam, and Northwest territories with a good amount of time spent here at Patrick Air Force Base, Panama City, and Oklahoma City, Tinker AFB which was where he met and married the love of his life. Charley enjoyed flying airplanes, and watching airshows. He was a member of the Quite Birdman Club.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife of forty seven years Olga Sims; three boys Tom of Texas, Terry of Palm Bay, Florida, and Michael of West Virginia; one Daughter Robin Sims of Melbourne, FL; three brothers Curtis, Farris, and Eugene; eleven grandchildren and two great grand-children.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Fountainhead Funeral Home Chapel 7359 Babcock St. SE Palm Bay, FL 32909 beginning at 1:00 pm with visitation and 2:00pm service.
