Charlie was an honest and hardworking man. His family was the most important thing for him, and by having two jobs at all times and his own lawn business, he took care of his family. He enjoyed when the family spent time together. He loved food and enjoyed a good laugh. He laughed at good jokes and enjoyed the dark sense of humor of his grandson. He always took time to travel with his loving wife, Verna, being Las Vegas one of his favorite destinations.
Charlie enjoyed watching football and spent hours watching the games on his recliner. The best part was when his grandson, Carlos Miguel, started playing football. Charlie never missed any of his games. His proudest moment was to walk across the football field for senior night with his grandson.
He was a loving and caring father to his only daughter, Cherie Lea Brow, and his last conversation with her was a testament of how much he loved her. He is now Cherie’s angel and protector.
Charlie is pre-deceased by Verna his loving wife. He is survived by his daughter, Cherie Lea Brown, his grandchildren, Jamie Lea Brown and Carlos Miguel Gerardino; and his great-grandchildren, Royalty Lea & Essence Lea. Son-in-law, Anthony John Lindsey, and his favorite brother-in-law, Ronald J. Sharpe.
Charlie will be always remembered and deeply missed by any who knew him.
