Cherilyn LaPointe Plude went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 75 in Palm Bay Florida. She was born on December 22, 1950, to the late Ross and Margaret LaPointe. Cherilyn married the love of her life Gary Plude on October 10th, 1976, and they enjoyed 49 years together. Shortly after they married, they moved to Florida and both worked for Hilton Industries. Through the years she worked at different places. She also helped her husband, who owns his own business, whenever she was needed. Cherilyn will be remembered for her creativity as she loved to do needlepoint, counted cross stitch, crocheting, knitting, and ceramics. Her hands were always busy making beautiful things for her family and friends. She also crocheted and knitted mittens and scarves which were donated to organizations back home. Cherilyn’s memory will forever be cherished by all who knew her, and her legacy of love and dedication will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to have been touched by her life. A few special words from her sister Joan— “Growing up you always called me Joannie Bolognie. Though the miles separated us you were always there for me. I will miss you immensely. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son Terry LaPointe and her father-in-Law Donald Plude. Cherilyn is survived by her husband Gary and her daughter Amanda. She is also survived by her sisters Joan (Kim) Griffin, Michele Shaw, and her brother Ross (Faye) LaPointe. Her grandchildren Tommy and Tyler Herman and Gillian LaPointe. Her In-laws Mildred Plude, Tom (Vicky) Plude, Kathy (Andy) Grant, Mark Plude, Laurie (David) Cronin, and many nieces and nephews.
