She worked as a technical engineering clerk for Royal Insurance Company in the UK, serving with diligence and excellence.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth. She was the proud parent of two daughters, Chrystella and Heather; a loving grandmother to Ross, Fiona, Alex, and Kelcee; and great-grandmother to Winston. In retirement, she moved to the USA to help raise her youngest grandchildren. She was devoted to her family, giving unconditional, unceasing love and support.
Her beautiful penmanship was more than a skill; it was an expression of a loving heart. Through the letters written to family and friends around the world, she bridged distance with kindness and joy, and always sent cards for birthdays and special occasions. Active in church, she carried a faithful presence that was both humble and deeply valued. She volunteered with Alzheimer’s efforts, reflecting her selfless nature and desire to help others. She also found great happiness in reading and in the natural world—birds, flowers, trees, and the sea.
Above all, Christine will be remembered as gentle and beloved, always thinking the best of everyone, always forgiving, and always thankful. She had the best smile, and a remarkable attentiveness that made others feel seen. Her legacy is one of steady love, gracious giving, and a life that always put others first.
Her favorite saying: “Everything will turn out all right in the end.”
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
2 Timothy 4:7
