Claude Marcelle Grosjean, formerly of Bayside and Jackson Heights, Queens and most recently a Melbourne, Florida resident passed away on December 21, 2020 at the age of 91. Claude was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and aunt.
She was born in New York, NY in 1929 to parents Emil Faucher and Renee Billard.
Claude was predeceased by Robert, her husband of 65 years, and is survived by loving sons Alain and his wife Patricia, and Claude Daniel and his wife Jill. Her grandchild Nicole and sister Micheline also survive her.
She worked as an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper for a major French bank early in her career and then a French tire company when she rejoined the workforce after raising her two sons. She finished her career working for a NYC engineering firm.
She will be most remembered for being a loving wife and mother who managed to strive forward no matter what health challenges she was presented with later in life. She was a real trooper.
Her remains will be interred at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, NY at a later date.
