He was born in Sellersville, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles “Rusty” Meredith Boorse & Frances Chapman Boorse. He grew up in Hialeah & was a graduate of Carol City High School in Florida. He received degrees from the Community College of the Air Force and from Saint Leo University. In 1984, he married Lori Forehand and theirs was a marriage beyond fairy tales. He loved Lori deeply, and she, him.
He was a proud retired MSgt of the US Air Force following 21 years and 9 months of service as of March, 1995. He had been stationed all over the world as a bomb loader and PME Instructor, and participated in the Viet Nam Campaign and Operation Provide Comfort in the Gulf War era. He was a recipient of the Air Force Commendation Medal and two Meritorious Service Medals.
He worked many jobs following his retirement including a Project Manager for IBM Federal Credit Union, Piggly Wiggly, in Beaufort, North Carolina, and as a courier for Brevard County Board of Elections for over two years. He served as Sunday School Superintendent at Faith Baptist Church of Palm Bay where he was a faithful member for over six years.
Curt loved fishing, bird watching, eagles, and Mustangs (the Ford kind). Some of Curt’s and Lori’s favorite times were spent on road trips around the US and Europe. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family, but most of all, his beloved Lori.

Boorse, Jr., a sister, Caren McMillan (Ron), four grandchildren, as well as his father- and mother-in-law, Jack and Linda Forehand and his sister- and brother-in-law, Cheryl and David Schultz, and many beloved friends and family, near and far.
