He was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on July 31, 1933.
David was in the Army Corps of Engineers and a veteran of the Korean War.
He received his training to become a Master Plumber at Stevens Trade School. David owned his own plumbing business. He also worked for St. Joseph’s Hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as a plumber.
David moved to Micco, Florida from Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1994. He worked for Maxwell Plumbing in Sebastian after moving to Florida. He was a plumber for 60 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lemon and Mary Troop and his daughter Susan Nadine Leaf.
David is survived by his wife of 39 years, Peggy A. Troop of Micco, Florida; sons Michael Troop(Tina) of Hershey, Pennsylvania and David Troop, Jr. (Kim) of Parkton, Maryland; sister Lorraine Upperman (Richard) of Micco, Florida; eight grandchildren, Devon Troop, Rick Troop, Joshua Leaf, Jacob Leaf, Kristin Leaf, Nick Leaf, Megan Schneider, and Ryan Troop; eleven great grandchildren; nieces, nephews; cousin Beverly Coyle among other cousins; and faithful friend Hassan Restum of Micco, Florida.
There will be no services.
