

Donald A. L’Heureux, age 88, of Palm Bay, Florida, formerly of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Don was a 40 plus year employee of the Herald News, Fall River, MA, and a 10 year veteran of the National Guard. He was also a very active sports enthusiast enjoying golf, bowling, basketball, and an avid fan of his New England Patriots, and the Boston Bruins.
Don and his wife Bea moved to Florida in 2006, and resided at the Palm Bay Colony in Palm Bay. There Don was active in the community assisting with weekly Bingo games; Bowling, and became “The Mayor” of the swimming pool.
In addition, he and Bea became members of the “ECHOS” musical entertainment group giving several performances throughout the year at Palm Bay Colony and throughout the Palm Bay area. The highlight of every show was Don’s performance as Tom Jones doing his version of “Delilah”.
Don also kept busy with his love of driving working part-time for Costal Hyundai in Melbourne as a driver for several years.
Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife Beatrice (nee Mirra) L’Heureux, and is survived by his 3 daughters; Donna (Harry) Stefanick, Paula (Paul) Stewart and Trina (Gil) Carlson, all of Florida. He is also survived by his brother, Gilbert L’Heureux of Westport, MA; grandchildren; Craig, Clifford, Deedra and Derek, and 2 great granddaughters; Ella and Lilith.
Interment Services will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, January 22nd, at Fountainhead Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm Bay, Florida. Memorial Donations in Donald’s name may be made to the Health First – William Childs Hospice House, 381 Medplex Parkway, Palm Bay, FL 32907.
