Edna Mae Liddle

Mae graduated Suwannee High School and attended Massey Business School in Jacksonville, FL. Mae and Jim lived in Iowa, Michigan, Georgia and Virginia before settling in Melbourne, FL in 1973. After raising her family she went to work at J. C. Penny for 18 years and retired in 2003. Above all Mae loved Jim, her husband of 47 years, her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchild. Mae also had a great love of the Florida Gators and cheered the football team each season and spoke fondly of attending games and homecoming parades in Gainesville when she was young.

Mae is survived by her daughters: Cheryl Grabowski, Sue Wilson, Jamie Schroeter (husband Gene) and Amy Hartman, grandchildren: Matt Wilson (wife Priscilla), Megan Hartman, Zach Schroeter, Nick Hartman, Hannah Schroeter and great grandchild Alexa Wilson, her sister Betty Willis(husband Don), and many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dogs Tobey & Evie.

Mae is preceded in death by her husband James M. Liddle and her siblings: Damon H. Nolan, James S. Nolan, Bobby R. Nolan and Marjorie G. Nolan.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 19, 2018 @ 3 pm at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street, Palm Bay, FL 32909. Please join us to celebrate her life.
