Elaine R. Leggett

Born June 28th, 1941, Elaine passed away surrounded by her family on October 29th, 2023. Born in Rush, New York but was a longtime resident of Palm Bay, Florida.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, Elaine is predeceased by her husband, Evan 'Pete' Leggett, parents, Loren Smith and Ruth Smith; survived by her loving children, daughter, Cynthia Broomfield-Herman, son, John Farrell, and son, Terry (Anna) Farrell; Step-Son Michael (Francine) Leggett; grandchildren, Megan (Chris) Roark, Joshua (Jennifer) Broomfield, Corinne Farrell; step-grandchildren, Michael (Valerie) Leggett, Melanie (Jason) Clary, great grandchildren, Cade, Eli and Brecken Roark, and Kypton, Kamdyn, and Kayson Broomfield; step great-grandchildren: Elaina and Miles Leggett and Hudson Clary.

She was an engaged in various athletics at Avon High School, Avon, NY until she graduated in 1959. She was first married in 1959 and again in 1984. She worked as bartender at several Livingston County Restaurants but was employed by Gleason Works until she moved to Florida to be closer to family and to take care of her mother.

In our eyes, our mom, was loving, caring, and always worked to provide for her family. Very few people smiled as much and who people could comfortably talk with which is why she seemed to know everyone.

She will always be on our mind even now that she is out of sight.
