March 30, 1931 to April 29, 2025
"I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith." 2 timothy 4:7
With heavy hearts and deep gratitude, we honor the life of Elisa Victorin, a devoted woman of faith, love, and quiet strength. Born in Lascahobas, Haiti on March 30, 1931, she was the daughter of Lucette Victorin and Intelus Vincent. Elisa received her education in Haiti before courageously immigrating to the United States in 1968 in hopes of building a better life for her family.
For 38 beautiful years, she shared her life with her beloved partner Thomas Cajuste. Together they raised six children and created a home grounded in love, faith and resilience.
A devout member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Elisa lived her faith in both word and deed. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life: music, dancing, aerobics, gardening, sewing, jigsaw puzzles, word search booklets and the occasional action packed martial arts movie. Her strong will and unwavering strength were hallmarks of her character, and she touched everyone around her with her grace and determination.
Elisa was called home to God on April 29, 2025 at Palm Bay Hospital. Though we mourn her deeply, we rejoice in the knowledge that she now rests in the eternal peace of our Lord.
She is survived by her five children: Ketly, Margaret, Jean Ritzer, Patrick and Thomas, as well as many cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren who will carry on her legacy of love, faith and perseverance.
May her soul, and all the souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
