

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Eneabelle “Mabel” Plumey on February 1, 2026. She was born on April 1, 1963, in Lares, Puerto Rico, and was raised in the Bronx, New York, where her strong roots and vibrant personality were shaped. Eneabelle attended Fashion Industries High School in Manhattan, where she discovered and nurtured her lifelong love for fashion. Creative at heart, she found joy in sewing and knitting, and she was especially fond of gardening and flowers, which reflected her nurturing spirit and appreciation for beauty.
Eneabelle was affectionately known as Mabel to those who knew her well. Her personality was nothing short of inspirational. She was best known for her sassy spirit, resilient nature, and bubbly demeanor despite life’s ups and downs. Never one to shy away from speaking her mind, her stubborn streak was all part of her charming aura that left an indelible mark on those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Priscilla Fong (son-in-law Bruce Fong) and Kimberly Plumey; her sons, Victor Andrew Quiles and Robert Emmanuel Quiles; and her cherished brother, Efrain Plumey. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Brandyn Vera, Daniel Khan, Matthew Khan, Jonathan Khan, Emme Lee Fong, and Bruce Leo Fong. She was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughters, Yasmine Inayah Khan and Angelica Estremera.
As we mourn the loss of Eneabelle, we also celebrate the vibrant life she led, her enduring spirit, and the love she imparted to her family and friends. We will forever cherish the wonderful memories and joyful moments she gifted us throughout her incredible journey on this earth. Her feisty spirit will continue to live on through all the lives she touched.
