Born and raised in Connecticut, Lorraine spent many years working as a secretary for Travelers Insurance. Upon retirement, she made the move to Florida, a decision she would always say was the best thing she ever did.
Retirement opened the door to a new chapter filled with adventure, sunshine, and travel. Lorraine loved exploring the world and especially enjoyed riverboat cruises, making wonderful memories along the way. She embraced life in Florida and enjoyed the freedom and opportunities that retirement brought her.
Lorraine will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her love of travel, and the life she made for herself in the sunshine state.
She is survived by her nephew, Douglas Rapp Jr.; her two great-nieces, Katie Roy and Nicole Burnham; and her great-nephew, Douglas Rapp III.
Lorraine leaves behind a legacy of adventure and a reminder to embrace life’s opportunities. May she rest peacefully, knowing she lived life on her own terms and found her happy place in Florida.
