Evelyn Wisneski Van Bergen

Evelyn Wisneski Van Bergen, 101, of West Melbourne passed away peacefully at home on November 2, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Evelyn was born on September 18, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois. She moved from Muskegon, Michigan to Florida in 1940’s first to Miami Lakes and later to Brevard County in 1990’s.

Throughout her life, Evelyn was interested and involved in many things and she volunteered at Holmes Regional Medical Center.

Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughters Carole Maskell (Bill) of West Melbourne, FL and Linda Van Bergen of Marietta, GA. Grandchildren Kevin (Kate) Palmeri, Stephanie (T.J) Woodbury and Joseph Palmeri. Great-grandchildren Alexandra Palmeri of Tallahassee, FL; Julia Palmeri of Ashville, NC; Paige (Luke) Fardelmann of Petersburg, VA; Carter Palmeri of West Melbourne, FL; Brooke Palmeri of West Melbourne; Jackson Woodbury of West Melbourne, FL; Grant Woodbury of West Melbourne, FL; Vincent Palmeri of West Melbourne, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband Christian J. Van Bergen, her son Ronald J. Van Bergen, and grandson Christian J. Palmeri.

A good friend to many, she will be deeply missed. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Health First in memory of Evelyn.
