He was born Mar. 7, 1949 in Green Island, Hanover, Jamaica W.I. to William
Reynolds and Elaine Holgate. Alva enjoyed fishing, painting, building, photography
and was an avid collector rare items.
Alva worked many years in the Aerospace industry for the Omega Corporation in
CT., and retired from working in the Bio-Medical division of the Valjean
Corporation in Florida.
He will be sadly missed by his Mother, Elaine Holgate, daughter, Cynthia
Reynolds, son, Mark Reynolds, two brothers Baldwin and Kelvin Reynolds and one
sister, Marlene Reynolds-Cox, two nieces, Shari and Aisha Roberts, three
grandchildren and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death his father William
Reynolds, by a sister, Yvonne Reynolds-Roberts and a brother, Barrington
Reynolds.
Friends may call at the fountainhead funeral home Friday, July 15 from 5:00 to
8:00pm. Funeral services are Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 11:00 am at Fountainhead
Funeral Home, Palm Bay.
