A highly successful businesswoman and elder care professional, Hope always put her family first, especially her beloved daughter, Sandy. She worked tirelessly to ensure Sandy’s health and happiness, surrounding her with unwavering love and support.
Hope and her husband, Del Jones, moved to Florida in 1989. She cared for him with love and devotion throughout his illness until his death from cancer in 2008. Over the years, she also remained close to friends and family, nurturing the relationships she treasured.
Hope was predeceased by her son, Jimmy Brown, and her husband, Del Jones. She is survived by her loving daughter, Sandy Brown; her nephew, Peter Thibault; and her grandchildren, Heather Brown-Talevi and Terrance Brown.
She will also be dearly missed by Del’s children, Roxann Hebert, RJ Peppe, Robin Peterson, and R'Ami Spain, and by R'Ami’s husband, Ted Spain. The girls were able to share in the celebration of Hope’s 100th birthday, a treasured memory for each of them.
Hope’s spirit, humor, graciousness, and love will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed, but her loved ones take comfort in knowing she is now with Del, whom she loved so dearly.
Hope will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Fountainhead Memorial Park in Palm Bay, Florida. Her family will honor her wishes with a private interment. In lieu of services or offerings, Hope’s wish was that those who remember her with love honor her memory through contributions to organizations meaningful to them.
