Flossie Mae Harrell, 91, of Melbourne, Florida, and formerly of North Carolina, was carried away by angels on September 4, 2017. She was born in Greenville, North Carolina on December 31, 1925 to Oscar and Lillian Stalls.
Flossie had a heart of gold and gave selflessly of herself by volunteering with the D.A.V., Red Cross, and Church Youth Groups. She also served as a Sunday School Teacher and a Vacation Bible School Teacher.
Preceding Flossie in death are her parents, 4 sisters, 1 brother, 2 husbands, and 1 granddaughter. She is survived by her children, John Harrell and Blanch Hemby; 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a sister and brother.
Viewing will be Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11:30am with Funeral Service at 12:00pm, both at Praise Cathedral Church of God, 840 Hollywood Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32904. Flossie will be laid to rest at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Flossie's name to Praise Cathedral.
