She was survived by her children Gary Farlow (Terry), Lisa Faulkenberry and Don Farlow. She had five grandchildren Casey Click (Chris), Chad Faulkenberry (Amy), Lindsay Farlow, Kristin Bobineaux (Josh) and Keith Farlow (Kristin) and had 5 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband (Donald), her parents FV and Iva Hancock, a brother Jerry (Dawn) of Boston, GA, and her sister June Hancock of Madison, FL.
Betty graduated from Georgia College with a degree in Education and taught middle school English. She was a long-time member of Eau Gallie First Baptist Church and the Phebean Sunday School Class. She worked for Bank of America for over 40 years as head of bookkeeping and was a customer service representative. She enjoyed cooking and was well known for her Southern meals.
There will be a Celebration of Life service at Eau Gallie First Baptist Church located at 1501 W. Eau Gallie Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32935 on December 27th at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eau Gallie First Baptist Food Pantry or the Benevolence Committee.
