Gerda Marie Bunting

Gerda had a beautiful life, born and raised in Germany where she met the love of her life, Brian. Together they relocated to the United States and built a lifetime of memories filled with love and laughter. She never spoke a mean word about anyone, and her sweet spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her. When Gerda laughed, you couldn’t help but laugh too, her beautiful laugh would fill the room and linger for a while. She loved fishing and treasured every moment spent with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Gerda is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Brian; her daughter, Claudia Bruhn (Raymond) of Staunton; and her beloved grandchildren, Matthew of Highland, Illinois, and Nicole (Brian) of Indialantic, Florida. She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren — Savannah, Sebastian, Spencer, Hayden, Kenzi, and Austin — and two great-great-grandchildren, Graham and Grady, who all brought her endless joy.

All services will be held on Monday, October 20th at 11:00 AM at Fountainhead Funeral Home in Palm Bay.
