Gerda worked for Brevard County schools for many years as a cook. There she gained friendships that lasted a lifetime.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Burinsky, and her son, Thomas Burinsky.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Diana Phillips, and her beloved granddaughters, Cailey Nebenfuhr and Emily Nebenfuhr.
A visitation for Gerda will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, Florida, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM.
