Glenn Alvarado, 70, was born on May 25, 1953, in Geneva, NY and passed away on May 14, 2024 at his family home in Palm Bay, FL, just 11 days from his 71st birthday. He was raised by his mother Dulcidia, with lots of help from his grandmother Mama Lucy.
After finishing high school, Glenn went straight into the United States Army and proudly served for 22 years. Once retired from the Army, Glenn was one who had to stay busy, so he continued to work many jobs before officially retiring. According to Glenn, these jobs all required him to “perform brain surgery.”
Glenn was a man of many jokes and dark humor. But most of all he was a father, grandfather, great grandfather (aka Papa), son, brother, uncle, and friend.
He will be remembered for his love, wisdom, and sense of humor. While his heart may have failed him, it never failed his family. He will be forever loved, missed, and never forgotten.
He is survived by his Son Xavier, Mother Dulcidia, Grandchildren Celina (Troy), Alana, Evan, Alex and Jayden (Kai), Great grandchildren Savannah Rose and Harper Grace, Daughter-in-law Karen, Sister Dulcidia, Niece Dulcidia B., and Nephew Matthew. He was predeceased by his Son Glenn Enrique, Brother Michael, and Nephew Michael.
Services to be announced.
