"Going Home"
When god calls Mrs.Miller,H. home his angels come to take her hands leading her along a shining path into a place of  peace and light. The angels see the lord open his arms, welcoming her with a smile into the ever lasting joy and peace that is his love. As the lord welcomes her home to perfect peace, may he also comfort the family and lead them through their sorrow. Praying the lord to comfort Miller's family with peace, love, and his presence. Life is something that doesn't last forever. It was a pleasure to know Mrs.Miller, I called her mom. She will always be missed by me with her smile, word of encouragement. She was a good example for me in Christian's way. Thank you god for my sister in christ, my mom, my friend Harriett Miller. May she rest in peace.

Mrs. Miller was a gentle soul who was soft spoken and kind. My memory of Mrs. Miller goes way back the St. Croix, SDA Youth Ministry. Mrs. Miller along with Mrs. Henry formed a evangilistic youth ministry. The youth group consist of children ages 6 thru 13 and boy could she keep us in line. I do not recall a negative word spoken, her varied facial expressions of approval, disappointment, and the like was enough. If memory serves me correctly, the group met once a month right after children's church. Mrs. Miller also could organize and feed an army of children within record time.  My encounter with her as an adult was one of joy, elation, open arms of love and acceptance. She often inquired of my well being and my daughters'. Today, I'm a better person because of her. Mrs Miller, you will truly be missed.  You have touched so many lives in such a positive way continuously demonstrating, love, kindness, humility, patience, forgiveness, understanding... just as Christ demonstrated for us as he walked this earth.  Not many people are able to do it with such grace.  Thank you for continuously shining your light for us to see.  You were a great example.

Harriet was a sweet, loving, and caring soul that always thought of others before herself. For the short time that I have known her, I am grateful for her presence and her strength. I will miss her smile and her joy for music.

Harriet was such a loving, beautiful kind spirited woman of God.  I am honored to have known her.  She always had a beautiful smile on her face and was always looking like an Angel.  She is sleeping in peace now and one day we will meet again on the other side. Oh, what a day of rejoicing that will be. Anna and family, continue to trust and obey our Lord.  You will see your love one again.  May God wrap his loving arms around the family and comfort you at this difficult time.

It was an honor and such a blessing knowing Mom Harriett , truly the best four years of getting to know such a God fearing woman who loved people.  She always wore a contagious/radiant smile, very pleasant, charming, loving and caring,  she was always concerned about others and not herself,  and no matter what the situation is  she would quietly say to me God is in charge, just continue to trust him and he will see you through.  What I loved most about her, she would thank you for the very small things, no matter what it was.  I loved her and I know she loved me.  All the family, be assured that she is in no more pain, her legacy lives on and she is resting in the arms of Jesus until we all see her again on that great day. My Mom and I will miss Mom Harriett, because she was an inspiration to us daily in many ways.  To Anna and all the family, may your memories of Mom bring each one of you comfort during this time of your loss. I want to leave these thoughts with the family  At this time of mourning, we often feel that we are distant from those we love.  Actually, they are united with us now and more than ever before.  No more do they know the restraints of human condition, now they are able to love us from a deeper love, a fuller love, a love that is enriched by God's own love.  No, death does not separate us from those we love.  It deepens our union with God and with each other.

When introduced to us, Harriett was so excited and said "In St. Croix we treat our Pastor & Wife with Royalty". When Harriett learned we were expecting our 2nd child, she came to our home at least twice a week to cook, wash clothes, clean our home etc.. and would not accept any pay. This was only the beginning of the love, compassion and services provided by Harriett P. Miller. She was family to us. Harriett is a living testimony of true Christianity. She left a legacy of compassion, and genuine, unconditional love towards our family and to others. One day soon when Christ returns, we want to be ready to see Harriett.

I did not know my darling Harriett for a long time, but I have not met a gentler sweeter spirit as hers.  I was blessed to have known her, and I know we will see her on that great getting up morning.To all her family and friends;no need to worry or fret-she sleeps in the arms of Jesus.

A beautiful rose.....That is what I think of as I remember Mom Miller. Always gentle and caring, with that beautiful smile as she asked, "How you do?" I have know Mom Miller all my life and cannot recall even one time when she did not greet me warmly and offered an encouraging word. In her quiet way she touched many hearts, and in our hearts her memory will live on until that glorious morning......."For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first...Therefore comfort one another with these words." 1Thessalonians 4:16-18

Wow Anna! I am very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. May you be comforted by the precious memories and quality time you both had together. One positive thing for sure, she is pain free. Rest in Jesus my friend.
