Herbert Ballentine was born in Camberwell, Jamaica, the parish of St. Mary. He loved animals, and he loved gardening, an avid traveler and cherished his family and friends.
A man of humble beginnings, he is survived by his son James, his sisters Ann Hines and Deta May Davidson, his nieces Rosaline Cameron, Marilyn Minto, Lynda Elder, Jennifer and Justine Nicol and his nephew Jimmy Elder.
His boisterous personality and silly jokes will be missed by all who knew him.
The calling hours will begin at 1:30pm followed by services at 2:30pm on Friday October 9, 2015 at Fountainhead Funeral Home, Palm Bay, Florida.
Entombment will take place at Fountainhead Memorial Park, Palm Bay, Florida
