Irene L Lawton

Irene was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 10, 1933 to parents Camile and Germaine Geoffrion. She pursued her life’s calling by becoming a Registered Nurse, a career she served with dedication, compassion, and a caring touch to all she came in contact with. She married the love of her life, Dave 'Sonny' in 1956 and raised their five children while working in various hospitals in the Bronx, NY. They moved to Palm Bay, FL in 1983 and continued to enjoy life together for a total of 54 wonderful years until his passing.

Irene leaves behind three children, Debra (son-in-law Steven), David and Lawrence. She was predeceased by daughters Lynne and Donna, and her brother Donald. Also left behind are thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, all of whom will deeply miss the woman they affectionately called 'Mémère'.

Irene lived a simple and quiet life, and the celebration of her years with us will be as she would have wanted, simple and quiet.

We will miss you and love you always!
