Irma was such a nurturing, beautiful, and fun woman. I will always remember the endearing way she said “Emmy” in that sweet voice of hers. I cherish childhood memories of her loving kindness towards my sisters and me. Love you so much, Phyllis and Irma!

Grandma Irma, was the very best adopted grandmother to our three kids and friend to Ken and I. We moved to Florida in 2005, and what we didn’t know was that we were the luckiest people in the world, we moved next door to Irma and Larry. At the time, we had a newborn, and let me tell you, he was a handful. Shortly after meeting them, we started a very special bond between two families. Anna was born our daughter, and having no blood family in the USA, they looked after Luke while I was in hospital, Lots of zoo visits and baseball games we attended with them.  You could see the love Irma and Larry had for our three kids and they loved them. I will miss our conversations  and especially your laugh. We love you so much, sending prayers and hugs to Phyllis.

Dear, sweet, Irma was very special to many. 
I will always cherish the memories of when I first met her in Burke, VA to visits between Florida and Virginia over the years. She was always full of good cheer and love. She had a very nurturing way about her and made you feel so special. Irma would go out of her way to make sure you were comfortable well-fed and happy. When my
daughters were younger, they were fortunate to meet and spend time with Irma. They fondly remember her kindness and how she taught them to play card games. Irma always remembered their birthdays by sending them cards and a check.  Irma was like a second mom to me and I’m so grateful for the times I got to spend with her over the years. My last visit with Irma in Florida was 3 1/2 years ago. I cherish that time with her very much, from the chatting, to singing, dancing, and laughing. This is how I will always remember Irma. I love her and trust she is at peace as she is reunited with Larry and Judy. My love and prayers are with Phyllis and Marlene at this time. Rest peacefully, Irma. I love you forever.

Moving to Misty Creek  my granddaughter and Igot 
know, Mama Irma she was one of the sweetest neighbors who embraced us as her children  she was always compassionate loving and concern teaching me grandmother skills that I cherish today. We fell in love with the Post family.

I have known the whole Post family for about 59 years and always considered each one my family member. I literally grew up with you all. I would never want to lose a moment of my memory of any of you. I even remember both of your grandmothers, especially Aunt Lena’s “ Eat the cake “ at Judy’s sweet sixteen party. Sharing your Aunt Marlene and giving me a second set of parents! I love you so much and will continue to be with you and your entire family forever in my heart. I will be here for you forever as always! Sending you prayers,love, strength to help you through this most painful and difficult time. 💔😢😘🙏🏻

I’ve known Irma since we were 5 years old. We grew up together in the same apartment building in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from the same high school. Our dear friend, Laura, made us a triumvirate…and now we’re two. I even visited Irma and Larry in Davenport, Iowa!
as well as in Maryland and then in Melbourne. Obviously we were special to each other. Of course, I knew her parents and sisters. I haven’t seen her in a few years because I live in New Jersey but we were always in touch and in recent years, I spoke regularly to Phyllis, who was a devoted angel to her mother.Of course I knew the heartache they all felt when they lost Judy.  Ours was a rare and special friendship. Rest in peace, dear friend. I will think of you often.
