Ivy Claire Julye

She was born in the Parish of St. Andrews, Jamaica. She was the daughter of Caroline Penrose nee Harper and Charles Penrose. She is a graduate of Oberlin High School in Jamaica, with an associate’s degree in nursing from Chicago. IL.

She was a member of Summit Christian Fellowship in Tehachapi, CA. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and reading. Ivy will be remembered for her dedication to her Christian faith, and her church family, charitable donations and unwavering support of her children and grandchildren’s endeavors.

Ivy is survived by her daughters, Andrea, Allison, Ernestine, and Claire; sons, Andrew S and Rohan; grandchildren, Jasmine, Destiny, Andrew W, Marlene, Sylvia, Sophia, and Garvey; great-grandson Asher, brothers George and Cecil. Her son Leighton Julye predeceased her.

The graveside service will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 11:00 am at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. There will be a memorial service held at Summit Christian Fellowship in Tehachapi, CA.
