

Jack was an Army soldier in the Korean War in North Korea from 1950-1953. He was an employee of Potlatch Inc. for 20 years, Norwin Elementary as a custodian for 20 years, and the Rest Area on I-95 for a few years.
Jack was married to Virginia Twele Bergman for 68 years on July 9. He was preceded in death by his parents; his two sons, Steve M. Bergman and Barry P. Bergman; and his two brothers Bob Bergman and Dean Bergman. Jack is loved by his wife, Virginia T. Bergman; his son, Marc J. Bergman (Connie); his daughter-in-law, Suzanne E Bergman; his brother, Bruce Bergman (Sandy); Beverly Bergman (late Dean); grandchildren, Eric L. Bergman (Stefanie Petak), Amelia Guillotte (Jared Guillotte), Ryan M. Bergman (Ashley Bergman), Britta A. Bergman, Austin P. Bergman (Alicia Garcia Bergman), and Amanda E. Bergman; nine great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He loved model ships, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, going fishing, and collecting antiques. He loved and cherish getting together for holidays and birthdays, playing games, and penny games. He enjoyed reminiscing about his past and sharing photos. He was so precious, always kind, and gentle.
Friends and family members may attend the funeral mass, officiated by Father Leo, on Tuesday, July 25 at 11AM at Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 N. Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne, Florida, 32935. The wake starts at 10AM.
