James Gioachianno Cammilleri, Sr., 78 went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 16, 2020, following a brief illness.
James leaves his wife of 56 years, Suzanne (Lorraine) Cammilleri. His children; Michelle Cammilleri, Janine (Rich) Bonanno, James (Sarah) Cammilleri, Jr., Mark Cammilleri, Kristina (Paul) Smith.
Brother, Leo Cammilleri, sister, Sharen Guck. Twenty three grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
After serving six years in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Cammilleri began his career in Rochester, NY, with Carrol’s Corp. for 25 years and became a Burger King franchisee in 1989.
In 1972, James and Suzanne came to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior which dramatically changed their lives and altered their life’s path.
In 2003, James retired to Malabar, FL with his wife, Suzanne.
James was known for his sense of humor and fierce love for his wife and family. He enjoyed many hobbies including, fishing, golfing, and painting.
In celebration of his life, a memorial service will be held at Lifepoint Church, Palm Bay, FL, on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 10:00am.
