Growing up, I believed you could do everything. You were my hero, stronger than any foe. You rebuilt cars, built us rooms, got snow off the roof, built a bathroom and a garage in one summer. You dug us out of a snow drift we could have easily died in and made us walk in your footsteps for miles to grandma's house. You made me believe in Santa until I was 12!! The only reason then was that I got in a fight (my one and only) at school over my dad being a liar. But then you let me in on the magic you made at Christmas, so it was ok... teen years were more rough but I still knew I was loved. I never had to have a mechanic, a handyman or a supplier of fish haha. I loved my dad unconditionally and always will. Rest in peace at last daddy. Give mom a hug. I love you both with my whole heart.

Carol, James, Mary Ann, Amy, Brian, and Amanda, I just want to let you know that my heart, thoughts and prayers are with you all! I love you all very much and wish I could be there to support you. I am there in heart and spirit! Carol and James I loved your daddy, my Uncle Jimmy very much, and I'm so grateful to have such loving memories of him. He was a wonderful Uncle. Our two families were like one big happy one. I remember all our vacations to Florida growing up. I remember when I was 8 or 9 we were having make your own pizza night and I had a real loose tooth. I couldn't enjoy my pizza , Uncle Jimmy sat down on the floor with me and pulled that tooth. I was so scared and he wouldn't let me be he said something made me laugh and it was out! I remember all of us  packing into that old VW bus amongst rafts, our faithful tire inner tube, snacks and drinks going to the beach! What fun! And on the way home happy and tired we'd stop at Hales and drink free fresh orange juice!!! What a treat for us Yankee kids! My last memory of my Uncle Jimmy was at his and Auntie Irene's house in Vero, he held my hand and my daughter Tera's hand and walked around showing us his whole yard and all the plants and flowers, he repeated himself often but I didn't let on just smiled, listened however many times necessary and soaked it all in. In my heart and in my memory because I knew he'd eventually forget who I was. But I will never forget my Uncle Jimmy or my Auntie Irene either! R.I.P Uncle Jimmy your finally at rest with our heavenly Father and the love of your life, Auntie Irene! I will always love you! And say hi to daddy for me!
