She was born in Rockford, Illinois on September 28, 1985. She moved to Vero Beach, Florida in October 1986 then to Palm Bay, Florida in February 2011.
Jessica enjoyed writing poetry; she had a passion for it. She also enjoyed going to see movies with her family and friends. After completing high school, she attended a beauty school in Vero Beach, Florida and received her license to be a nail technician. Doing others` nails always brought joy to her.
She loved being Aunt Jessie Jess to Damian & LaNiya Blades from Sebastian, Florida and Brayden Charlotte & Catherine Hanley from Holly Ridge, North Carolina. Attending events that they were participating in was one of her favorite pastimes.
She had a nurturing, kind, and caring personality. And not one judgmental bone in her body!
She will be missed for her big heart. She always gave to those less fortunate than her. She would often buy things for others even if it meant spending her last dollar because she felt that they probably needed it more than she did.
A believer in God, Jessica understood that every day was a gift from Him and to never take anything for granted. One has to live life to its fullest and be grateful for today because you do not know what tomorrow shall bring.
Jessica is survived by her mom, Dina Braden Blades from Palm Bay, Florida; her Father, Charles Blades Jr. from Tennessee; her maternal grandmother, Sis Braden from Oregon, Illinois; her paternal grandmother, Peggy Powers from Rockford, Illinois; her siblings: Paige (Nate) Hanley from Holly Ridge, North Carolina, Charles (Holly) Blades & Raquel Blades from Tennessee; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her beloved furbaby, Meisha; her brother, Justin Blades; her maternal grandfather, Stan Braden; and her paternal grandfather, Charles Blades.
A Celebration Of Life service will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 10AM to 12PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, Florida 32909. All are invited to attend.
