

Joan G. Bella, of Micco, Florida, passed away peacefully at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, Florida, at the age of 90. She will be remembered for her warm heart, vibrant personality, and the joy she brought to the many people fortunate enough to know her.
Joan was born in Union, New Jersey. She enjoyed a long career with Prudential Insurance Company and retired in 1991. In 2000, Joan moved to Micco, Florida, where she quickly became an active and cherished member of her community.
A true social butterfly, Joan loved being surrounded by friends and family. She enjoyed traveling, planning events within her community, and participating in numerous activity groups. Among them, the Red Hats held a special place in her heart. Joan had a wonderful ability to make friends wherever she went and was known for her enthusiasm, kindness, and love of life.
Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Andrew F. Bella, to whom she was married for 32 years.
She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts, including her three children, Patricia Stavely, Doug Crichton, and Jean Finarelli; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories they made with her and the love she shared so freely.
A Celebration of Joan’s Life will be held at Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. The date and time will be announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Joan’s memory to H.A.L.O. Animal Rescue, 710 Jackson Street, Sebastian, FL 32958, an organization supporting animals in need.
Joan’s life was filled with friendships, family, laughter, adventure, and love. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
