Joan worked as a Hospital Technician for many years with Wusthoff Health Systems and after that she worked at Sears. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Melbourne. In her spare time Joan was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Christine Owens and her husband Lloyd, Cynthia Conrad and her husband Robert, her son, James R. Walsh and his wife Bonnie, grandchildren Becky Boyrie, Jennifer Newton, Jillian Conrad, Robert Newton, Amy Walsh, Michael Walsh, Laura Walsh, Angela Walsh and Tyler Walsh, a niece Danetta Buckley and a nephew Jordan Buckley. Joan is preceded in death by her brother Raymond Youngbauer.
A celebration of life service for Joan will be held Monday, November 9, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
