John P. Francois, 40, of Palm Bay died Saturday, 2/16. A native of Manhattan, New York he came to the Palm Bay area in 1986 from Queens, NY. He was an electrical contractor as well as a promoter. He was a Catholic and had attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. A community advocate, he had been very involved in the community. He was the founder of Fathers Stand Up Corporation which offers training on life skills, teen pregnancy, relationships and marriages, responsible parenting and other domestic topics.
Survivors include his mother and father: Lemoine and Marie M. Francois of Palm Bay; two sons: Devin Johnathan Francois of Palm Bay, Justin Francois of Melbourne; sister: Carlinne M. (James L.) Francois-Lovett of Melbourne; one niece: Zaryah M. Lovett and nephew James L. Lovett, Jr. both of Melbourne.
Services will be scheduled at a later date. Entombment will follow in Fountainhead Memorial Park. Fountainhead Funeral Home, Palm Bay is in charge of services.
