John H. Thorman, 73, of Palm Bay died Tuesday (9/23) at his home. A native of Richmond, Indiana he came to the Palm Bay area from Tequesta, FL. John had received his degree in Business from the Metro Indiana University. He had always been a Lutheran and was a member of the Joy Lutheran Church here in Palm Bay. John was a member of the Webb Masonic Lodge No 24, the Scottish Rite and also was a Shriner. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trap shooting. While relaxing he also played the guitar.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years: Connie; sons: Trent and Ty both of Palm Bay; mother: Dorothy of Richmond, Indiana; sister: Karen Chock of Hawaii; and brother: Harry Edward of Richardson, Texas.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Space Coast Cancer Foundation, 490 N Washington Ave, Titusville, FL 32796 or the Brevard County Humane Society, 2600 Otter Creek Lane, Melbourne, FL.
