Age 79 Peacefully passed on to Glory, Friday, August 19th at his home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Wilcox and his son, Jeffery Wilcox. He is survived by his son, John Wilcox Jr., brother, Robert V. Wilcox, and sister, MaryEllen Hamlin as well as 3 granddaughters’, Angela Wilcox Pichardo, Sarah Wilcox Slater and Cassandra Wilcox Paskavan and 10 great-grandchildren. He will be truly missed.
Born in Maumee, Ohio and moved to Melbourne in 1965. He worked for AT&T / Southern bell telephone and retired after 36 years of distinctive service. He then worked for Harris Corp. for 14 years then retired. In addition, he was was also a US Army veteran of the Korean War.
Funeral services will be held at Fountainhead Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 24 at 3:00 PM. Friends may call from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be given to: Hospice in his honor.
