Joseph Castellano of Palm Bay Florida passed away Sunday April 22, 2018 at West Melbourne Health and Rehab Center. He was born in Yonkers, New York to Immacolata and Vito Castellano. Joseph married Elvira Romeo on September 22, 1957 and enjoyed 60 wonderful years of marriage.
Joseph was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Palm Bay, Florida.
His two favorite pastimes were gardening and cooking. He will be remembered most for all the Italian dinners that he would put together, such as sausage and peppers, pizza, and desserts that were to die for.
Joseph enjoyed a variety of music; among his favorite artists were Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, and Bing Crosby.
He is survived by his daughters, Diana and Joanna; his son, Anthony and his daughter-in-law, Mercedita; his granddaughters: Tabitha, Dana, Crystal, Marissa and his son-in-law, Eric; his grandson, Aaron; his great granddaughters: Jahnyiah, Tyilah, and Shyleaha; and his great grandsons: Kevin, Jahmaryion and Jahsyiah. He is predeceased by his wife, Elvira.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 25, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE Palm Bay Florida 32909. The visitation will be held from 2:30 PM until the time of the service. There will be a reception on site after all services.
Joseph will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
