

Joseph was born on September 12, 1925 to Joseph (Turk) Turchiano and Antoinette Milazzo in Syracuse, New York. After graduating high school in Syracuse he was immediately drafted into WWII and was a member of the Navy Seabees.
After serving his country he relocated to Port Hueneme, CA where he attended college and became a construction engineer.
In 1949 he met Lily Youmans and they were married six months later, raised four children, Joyce Lillian, Joseph Arthur, Janet Louise and Julie Lynn. Joe and Lily were married 70 years.
After extensive traveling and relocating throughout the United States with his job and family, he retired in Prairieville, Lousiana. Joe spent his time going on cruises with Lily, going to the gym, spending time by his pool and working in the yard. He was an animal lover who could never pass up a dog in need of a good home, his!
Joe is predeceased by his parents Antoinette and Joseph (Turk) Turchiano, his loving wife Lily, his sisters Mary (Brownie) Mazella and Betty (Chuch) Sibble and grandson Nicholas Donvito.
He is survived by his daughter Joyce Donvito, son-in-law Nick, Janet Ransome, son-in-law Bruce, Julie Trapen, son-in-law John and son Joseph Turchiano and wife, grandchildren, Cheryl (Tim) Kittell, Mike Luckett, Brian Luckett (Alejandra), Sara Trapen and great grandchildren Nicolette Kittell, Adrianna Kittell and Annalyse Kittell.
He will be forever in our hearts.
A celebration of life service for Joseph will be held Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, Florida 32909.
